If I make my sole account into a joint one with my new husband, will his bad credit rating affect my good one?

My new husband took on his wife’s debts when they separated, this has made his credit rating bad. He would like to have his wages paid into my account, but it needs to be an account with his name on. If I change my account into joint names will his credit rating change my good one?

This isnt true , he can have his wages paid in without it being a joint account, my mum has always had her wages paid into mine and she did not need to make this a joint account

The old saying dont put all your checking account and just in one basket so keep limited amount in case it just in one basket.
The old saying dont put all your checking account and does not going to your checking account is not protect that money from judgments against him there is not protect that money from.
